Shaw 2001 is a solvent free, non-flammable, latex-based adhesive specially formulated for the interior installation of direct glue down carpets. 2001 is recommended to install a wide range of carpet backings except those with vinyl backs. 2001 offers a long working time with aggressive grab and a strong permanent bond. 2001 is not recommended for non-porous backed carpets, patterned carpet installations, or carpet to cushion in a double stick installation.
