Shaw 4040 is an off-white hard-setting, acrylic adhesive formulated for the installation of rubber and vinyl cove base over wood, concrete, brick, plaster, wallboard or other porous surfaces. Exhibits fast tack and wet suction to hold on inner and outer corners. Will not contribute to staining, shrinkage or plasticizer migration. Note: Do not apply over non-porous surfaces such as vinyl wallcoverings, laminated masonite, or plastic laminates.
