W.F. Taylor's Co. Wood Master 2020 Wood Flooring Adhesive is a solvent free, low VOC, non-flammable, cream colored, smooth spreading synthetic polymer based adhesive developed for the interior installation of wood parquet and engineered plank flooring. NOT recommended for installation of foam back parquet, solid wood plank, teak flooring, stripwood, shorts, rubberwood, stair nosing, or reducers of any kind. May be used on, above or below grade concrete. Below grade installations are often subject to conditions of excessive moisture (above 3 lbs./1000 sq. ft./24 hours on a Calcium Chloride Test, ASTM 1869 test method or 75% using the relative humidity test, ASTM 2170 test method), hydrostatic pressure, excessive alkali (pH 10 or above) and possible flooding. These conditions will result in an unsatisfactory installation that will not be covered by an expressed or implied warranties at anytime during the life of the floor. Responsibility for determining moisture and suitability for installation rests solely with the installer/contractor. May also be used over association grade plywood underlayment, well bonded vinyl sheet goods, underlayment grade particle board and underlayment grade OSB. Any delamination of the OSB or particleboard will result in an unsatisfactory installation and this responsibility rests solely with the manufacturers of these products. For best results use sub-floors of plywood and concrete. Not for use over Luan subfloors.
