Meta-Tec® adhesives are the latest advance in adhesive technology.
Meta-Tec® products utilize cross-linking chemistry technology which creates a permanent bond that when fully cured is waterproof, extremely strong, and environmentally friendly. Meta-Tec® products are one-part formulations that replace and out-perform more costly epoxy, urethane, and acrylic adhesives and are easy to use, easy to clean up, and very installer friendly.
MS (MODIFIED SILANE) ADHESIVES – MS adhesives with Meta-Tec® Technology are one component 100% solids products featuring a dual curing system based on Meta-Tec® cross-linking chemistry and modified silane polymer moisture cure. These unique products are solvent and isocyanate free, contain no hazardous ingredients, are non-flammable, and very low odor. MS-Plus® adhesives have very low VOC and meet all federal, state and local governmental regulations for indoor air quality. MS-Plus® adhesives feature early green strength and build to very high strength, yet resilient, waterproof bonds.
Envirotec® Adhesives – Envirotec® adhesives have long been recognized by installers as the highest quality flooring adhesives in the industry. These products were the first environmentally friendly adhesives produced in the United States.
Touchdown® Specialty Products – Touchdown Specialty adhesives are a group of products developed for a variety of installation requirements for floor covering accessories.
1410 Platinum MAC System – A Taylor/Koester co-branded product. This one coat, solvent-free, water-based two component epoxy system contains a unique combination of epoxy resins and other chemical substances, specifically designed for reduction of moisture vapor transmission and alkalinity in concrete floors. It is specially formulated to overcome poor long term adhesion properties of adhesive systems when curing in an environment of constant wetness, extreme alkalinity (pH 13-14) and water vapor drive.
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) – Taylor’s GreenGuard and CRI Green Label Plus Adhesives qualify for LEED points under US Green Building Council environmental criteria and meet specifications of California Section 01350 VOC Emission (Requirements & SCAQMD Rule 1168).
Meta-Sept® Anti-Microbial – A proprietary broad spectrum anti-microbial agent that protects the adhesive and coating films from the growth of micro-organisms that can damage flooring materials and contribute to flooring failures. Meta-Sept® is incorporated in all W.F. Taylor products.
